Watch FINAL DESTINATION 5 online free Live Streaming

Posted on 4th January 2012 in movie review

In August 2010, actor and musician Miles Fisher was the first to be cast in Final Destination 5. Fisher’s rep confirmed “Miles has gotten a real movie job. Fisher is the first actor cast in Final Destination 5, the Steven Quale-directed horror film that is casting up at New Line Cinema. These are the pics where a group of characters narrowly escape death in a gruesome catastrophe, and then most of them get bumped off one by one in grisly fashion.” Three days after Fisher’s participation in the film, Arlen Escarpeta, joined the film. Escarpeta later revealed, “I think what they’re going to do really, really well this time around, they’re going to go back – the story, the plot, a lot of stuff is really going to matter,” explained Escarpeta. “I think the last movie it was just death. It was death, death, death, which is fine because that’s what people want to see. But this time we’re going to give them a little bit of everything – good story, great director – it’s going to be good. In late August 2010 Nicholas D’Agosto, Ellen Wroe and Meghan Ory also joined the film. One day later, Tony Todd, from the first three installments, joined the cast.
On August 30, David Koechner and P.J. Byrne was also announced to have joined the cast.On September 2, Emma Bell was cast as the female lead; Molly Harper. Later, in mid-September both Jacqueline MacInnes Wood and Courtney B. Vance joined the main cast.
Filming has been reset back to Vancouver, which is the location where the first three films were all shot. Shooting with 3D cameras began in September 2010. Producers have said that this installment will be darker and more suspenseful in style to the original film, rather than the almost comedic route of the fourth film.
Final Destination 3 star Chelan Simmons revealed that the opening scene would be filmed on the Lions Gate Bridge in Vancouver. Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s death scene in the film is rumored to involve laser eye surgery, along with P.J. Byrne’s death scene involving acupuncture: this was confirmed by the teaser trailer.
A new trailer for the horror film Final Destination 5 has hit the internet, you can witness the gory glory here. Be warned though, those squeamish about ocular injuries best look away for the last few seconds. After a plane crash and a faulty theme park ride, the continuation of the death cheating film franchise sees the collapse of a suspension bridge, taking with it all but a few unfortunate souls.
Those souls, however, may wish they’d sought a watery grave. After all: “Death doesn’t like to be cheated”. Candyman’s Tony Todd is on hand to let the teens know that, thankfully, the rules have changed. If they offer Death an alternative they may just survive.
The new trailer for Final Destination 5 has gone online and as always, every thing can be boiled down to “Go to mundane location, bad things happen.” The Final Destination franchise preys on our fears that we could die from a freak accident at any time. I would love to see the Final Destination film where someone escapes the big accident at the beginning and then instead of the reaper getting him or her with a Rube Goldberg project of death, the person just dies from a long, protracted illness. At least this one kind of raises an interesting moral quandary about whether or not you would kill an innocent person if it ensured your own survival. And really, what would a Final Destination movie be without an arbitrary new rule that was never mentioned in the previous entries.
